4. Data Storage & Security

Local data: Profile, journal, and streak data are stored locally using Hive on your device
Cloud data: When you sign in, selected data is synced to Firestore in Google Cloud (us-central region)
Encryption: Data in transit uses TLS; Firestore data is encrypted at rest by Google
Authentication: Firebase Authentication handles credential security

5. Data Deletion

You can delete your account and associated data at any time:

In-app: Settings → Account → Delete Account
