1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using this app ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

The App provides:

Daily Bhagavad Gita verses with translations in multiple Indian languages
Sanskrit audio recitations
Personal journal for reflections
Daily reminder notifications (device-local)
Premium subscription with additional features (ad-free, unlimited journal, learning paths, streak shield)

3. Accounts

Account creation

You may use the App without an account for basic features
Creating an account enables cloud sync of your profile, journal entries, and streak
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials

Account deletion

You may delete your account at any time (Settings → Account → Delete Account)

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Premium subscription

The App offers optional Premium subscriptions (monthly, annual, and lifetime options)
Payments are processed exclusively through Google Play
Subscription prices and billing periods are displayed at the time of purchase

Auto-renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage subscriptions: Google Play Store app → Subscriptions → [App Name].

Cancellation

You may cancel at any time through Google Play. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial billing periods.

Cancellation-first deletion

If you have an active subscription and wish to delete your account, you must first cancel your subscription through Google Play. Account deletion does not cancel Google Play billing. Account deletion forfeits any remaining paid access.

Restore

Purchases can be restored on the same platform (Android) after reinstallation. Purchases are bound to the original account and are not transferable to a different account.

Price changes

We may change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes do not affect the current billing period.

5. Content & Intellectual Property

App content

The App, including its code, design, and branding, is protected by copyright
Verse translations and commentary are included with permission from their respective rights holders
Sanskrit audio recitations are included with permission from their respective rights holders

User content

Your journal entries belong to you
You grant the App a limited license to store and sync your journal entries solely for the purpose of providing the service
We do not access, read, or use your journal entries for any other purpose

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to bypass Premium entitlement checks
Reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works of the App
Interfere with the App's operation or security
Use automated tools to access or scrape App content

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content is complete or accurate for all purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms as features evolve. Material changes will be notified via in-app notification and an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [City, State — TBD].
